羧苄青霉素试剂类: 
性状：常用其钠盐。为白色结晶性粉末，易溶于水溶于乙醇、甲醇，不溶于其它有机溶剂。吸湿性强。在水溶液中逐渐分解，不宜配后存放。其游离酸的pka为2.6、2.7和3.3，本品10％水溶液的ph值为6.0—8.0。
Application  Recommended for antibacterial use in cell culture media at 100 μg/ml. 
  
Biochem/physiol Actions  Carboxypenicillin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell-wall synthesis (peptidoglycan cross-linking) by inactivating transpeptidases on the inner surface of the bacterial cell membrane. Analog to ampicillin.

羧苄青霉素（carbenicillin）（50mg/ml）  
         溶解0.5g羧苄青霉素二钠盐于足量的水中，最后定容至10ml。分装成小份于-20℃贮存。常以25ug/ml～50ug/ml的终浓度添加于生长培养基。
